If you live - or travel - in lots of snow and ice then you probably should get winter tires. Due to the soft compounds and special tread they work much better in winter.
You should go to a narrower - taller tire - and narrower wheel (by 1/2 inch). Say a 195/70 R16. If you encounter lots of ice - get studded tires. Narrower tires have a better grip on snow and ice. They push through snow easier.
Run winter tires 3-5 psi higher than the spec. This compensates for the colder operating environment and you want a slightly higher unit pressure contact patch. . Tag: I have Camry 2007 Hybird and Tires Specs are P215/60 R16 94V M+S, do I need winter Tires as I am not sure.?
