Interior lights and radio won't shut off?

(2010-12-09 03:10:15)
1. JadaK Says: I was driving to the gas station and I turned my car off to go inside and get a drink. When I came back out, I started my car and realized that when I would shift into gears, the indicator wouldn't tell me which gear I was in. I also noticed that the gas gauge and oil gauge weren't working. I turned my car off and the radio won't turn off, as well as the most of the lights on the inside (dashboard light.. air bags, PRND, ignition light) I drove my car back to work and now, the lights won't turn off at all, and my doors won't lock either. The radio stays on too. What is going on? My batteries gonna die... aghhhhh! i have a 2003 pontiac bonneville
2. Canobeer6 Says: Had a similar problem in a ford truck and a guy told me to reset the computer. Disconnect battery for 15 or 20 minutes and then reconnect. See if it takes care of the problem. It worked for me. Good luck.
3. JLine Says: Sounds like you have an electrical problem that needs immediate attention. Until you get your car to the shop, disconnect the cables to your battery so that you don't kill the battery. You're going to have to lock your doors manually.
4. Karen Says: gotta be a short some where or fusable link burnt into or computer is screwing up take it too a shop and put it on computer annilyzer
