Can you use Radiator flush even though you dont have a heater?

1. mario Says: I have a 1966 mustang, Looking to flush my radiator. I bought the radiator flush but it says something about having my heater box on. Can I just have my car on for like 30 minutes with the radiator flush in it and let it get hot? Or do I absolutely need to have a heater?

2. nick Says: no it doesnt matter, they just say to leave the heater on so it flushes the heater core too

3. lurch Says: yes. you should run the heater if its there incase there is a heater shut of valve to flush the heater core at the same time.
