Motorcycle engine problem, tune up?
(2010-12-22 03:10:08) 1. Says: I just got an 04 gsxr600 from an insurance auction. it does turn over but hard to start. and once it starts it revs like a crazy and than dies. I tried to turn the idle down all the way but still same result. at some point I even had a flame in the area where throttle bodies connect to the engine and a couple of explosions coming down the exhaust. I wonder if these are pretty common symptoms of the engine not being tuned up properly or there might be more serious problem. any advice on how to resolve it would be great, but just any clues about diagnose would be appreciated as well. please help. thanks in advance!2.
