I love that fairlady, boy is she fine or what. Not sure why I have this obsession.
I have myself a 2000 celica GTS that runs great (ish?) has some strange things but is reliable yet I can't help but have a burning desire to buy a 300zx to learn how to work on cars. There tends to be a couple around 1 grand that run and drive but need some TLC. What I would like to know is if this is a terrible idea? Just looking for some input. I like to make decisions based off the most information I can get.

2. John Paul Says: The very newest Z-31 was produced as a 1989 automobile and it was the best looking Z-31. Many parts will be obsolete now R-12 refrigerant unavaiable. Digital dash boards auto climate controls all very expensive to fix. Learning on a car that you have to drive every day not a good idea. Restoring a car a part or two at a time while driving a Klunker Pick Up truck much better idea. Sell the truck when your done.
