1. Sayuri Says: Alright, so i'm not completely sure what is wrong with my car,
Problem #1

i was told by a friend that looked at it that it was leaking coolant into a steam form through the air conditioning and that was due to the firewall. as well as i was told that my cooling system is not working though it may be due to that and if the other thing is fixed then it would be fixed as well.

My car is also shaking a lot kinda like a really old truck would, but it never used to do that so i'm guessing it could be due to the cooling system not working or when i drove it last and it over heated BAD and shut off the engine and brakes and such.

Problem #2

It is also having problems with the lights, i replaced the lights on all headlights and brights. but when i turn the switch the lights wont come on, my road and parking and brake lights do but not the head lights when i turn the switch to turn it on. i have checked the fuses and all are perfect.

I tried these!!!

So, so far i have done to try to fix my car:
plugged hole in reservoir,
replaced water pump,
checked hoses (looks to have a leak between a hose and firewall as i said earlier),
checked fuses,
replaced Bulbs.

and that may be it but i cant remember.

i have a 1995 Chevy Beretta.

What do you think based on this info so far?

will give LOTS of points to whoever can help me... please i want my car back....
2. bandit_60 Says: the anti-freeze can,t get into the AC. the AC and the cooling system ar 2 different units. but you do have 2 cores, 1 for the heater and 1 for the AC. maybe it,s leaking through the core for the heater. as for the lights it could be a bad headlight switch. i know what you mean about your money being tight. you just have to do the best you can these days. i believe i would first fix it where it,s leaking then concentrate on the lights. like i said it could be in the light switch. if your going to sell it then you still have to fix it because you won,t get much out of it the shape it,s in.
3. bandit_60 Says: as for the title dear you can have a title made up if you want to sell it.
4. Pat Says: The cooling system will need to be pressure tested as I am sure your Heater
core is leaking and you have damaged the engine from overheating...
The problem you are faced with here is the value of the vehicle and the cost
of the repairs..
5. Robert C Says: the leak near the firewall is probably the heater core
look inside for moisture under the dashboard
when you replaced the headlights did you at any
time touch the bulbs with your bare hands?if so they blew out
from the oil on your skin
6. guy Says: A Beretta is nothing but a two door Corsica one of the worse cars ever made by GM.
7. mobile mike Says: i would do nothing else to the car until you have it checked for a blown head gasket. if it's blown, the car is probably not worth the money it will cost to fix.(also consider the other problems) . if the gasket is blown or the head(s) is/are cracked i would try a block sealer called "liquid glass"(probably get some thumbs down for that one). i've had a 50/50 success rate with it. don't throw your money away, start looking for a car.
