I now live in AL and want to trade it in at another dealership or a used car lot. I know nothing about trading in cars so I need some info!2. Says: The answer is yes. However, if the car is not paid for, be prepared to continue paying for the car, even if you've traded it for another car. If the car is paid for, then you don't have to worry about any other payments other than the one you'll be paying for which will be the new car.3. Says: Yes, trading your vehicle in is normal. The dealership will let you know what they are willing to pay for the vehicle, they will also get the payoff amount from the lending bank and if there is any rollover, they will add that to the new loan, if there is not a rollover, then that means that they have paid off the rest of the loan and you only have the new loan to take care of.4. Says: Most people trade in their car to the dealer they are buying the new car from.Hope you don't get low balled.5. Says: yes but you will get next-to-nothing for it Tag: Can I trade my car in somewhere different from where i bought it?
