Should I buy a car knowing that it has been rear ended?

1. Jameson Says: I am looking at a 2002 Corvette and it was rear ended in 2006, it has since been fixed. I wanted to know if this something that I should stay clear of. It's probably good to know before I drive a few hours to check the car out. Thanks in advance.
2. sachin Says: I wouldn't.....I know you must be getting a good deal but you have to think about the resale too....its a hassle for a resale.....If it is really a great deal then I would take it to the shop and have it inspected completely.
3. ? Says: Dont buy a car that's been in any sort of acciedent. You'll have problems the whole time you own the thing. Dont waste your time or money unless your handy and can fix the problems yourself.
4. Rohit Says: ask if anything happened to the axle..that is the main concern. otherwise it really should be fine
but i would take it to your mechanic also and get it checked out
5. Tom Says: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carinsurance.yoll.net
6. shizzle Says: never buy a car that's been in a collision...that's the reason they're selling it.
7. I T Says: i wouldnt..and its a rear wheel drive car so there is always going to be something wrong
