***EDIT -- Scotty, one of the reasons I am on here "often" (2600 questions in 3 years is no marathon... that's a whopping 3 questions a day, genius) is because I am also a published writer and don't need to do the 9-to-5 scene. How ironic you would mention that... and I also know that your $300K story is BS. Sorry chief, NOBODY in the industry would front you that much for a story. If you ever want to discuss how that industry really works, let me know. You just happened to have challenged someone who knows quite a few folks at both Columbia/TriStar and Viacom... in fact, my step brother-in-law is CFO at one of them. So, seriously, shoot me over the name of your little ditty and I'll check with them. My guess is your $300K check is still in your imagination. Even some of the most accomplished writers in the biz (some with Oscars) don't make that much in a year. And I'm supposed to believe that your one-shot story pulled in $300K from a major studio? C'mon, man... that alone stopped your bullsh** dead in its tracks.

After all, your attorney gets HIS cut, then the IRS gets theirs either now or later. What's left won't buy you 3 years worth of insurance on an exotic, let alone the car itself. I sure hope you know a good accountant... because if your BS was true, you'd be out of funds in no time.

Plus, I'll add this. Even if your story was true, you would never be stupid enough to go out and purchase an exotic based on future earnings. Have you even researched what it would cost to own one? Your immaturity is showing through.
