1. eric123 Says: I make enough to buy a used car and pay it off in 3 months but no one wants to take me :(. should i put down a large down payment??
2. pickmefirstplz Says: save up more money and pay cash
3. Tulsacarguy Says: As a car dealer myself, I would suggest saving the money and paying cash. If you have no credit, you should look at purchasing something much smaller and easier and quicker to pay off.

Some simple ways to get credit:
Find a credit card- make sure you request a low limit (like $500) and by something for $200-$300 then pay on it for six months and pay it off. Don't cancel the card account.

You could buy an appliance on installment credit (like a tv, washing machine and dryer, etc.)

Google installment credit vs. revolving credit so you can learn the difference between the two. After you have two or three years history in the credit bureaus, you shouldn't be considered a "special finance" customer. But essentially, it's always best to buy a car with cash, as opposed to finance, unless you can pay the car off within 48 months. (Clark Howard's advice)

Build you credit first a little bit at a time that way you don't get into a situation where you are considering bankruptcy.
4. mccoyblues Says: If you have access to all that cash then save it and use it. You won't need credit, you won't need a loan.
5. rmm Says: Wait 3 months and pay for it with CASH!!
