Can anyone give me advice on a good first car an what to avoid please?
(2011-01-08 22:07:07) 1. Says: Im sitting my test soon an want to start looking for a first car I just dont no whats reliable an what isnt , im not lukin to spend lots just an average price. Would be grateful for any advice.2. Says: Dear GlitterSTARZbluE,I recommend the Chevrolet Malibu, Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Cobalt or the Chevrolet Aveo. These vehicles are reliable and get good fuel economy. If you are seeking a vehicle that is new, I also recommend researching the Chevrolet Cruze or the Buick Regal.
If you are seeking a dependable used vehicle you can visit www.gmcertified.com. On this site you can input your zip code, make, model and the price range that you are seeking to stay within. Once you have inputted that information into the system, you will be able to view the inventory of cars that your local and surrounding dealerships have.
If you have further questions, please direct message me.

Says: definitley a ford! front ends are horrible on chevy malibu!! my cousin was dumping money into his constantly! it depends on the year. i am a ford fan for many personal and political reasons. toyota corolla is great too. of course i would pick a toyota before 2005 for safety reasons. 4. Says: I once owned a 1997 chevrolet cavalier. Maybe its not the coolest car out there, but I would venture to say its one of the most dependable. Good gas mileage too! Mine got 39 MPG, and the only thing I ever had to change in it was the thermostat. Thats about an $8 part. You can get them fairly cheap too! Small and easy to handle. Easy to drive. For a beginner car, I would give it an A+!5. Says: well older vehicles are good because everyone rides the hell out of their first ride... depends what you like car? truck? suv? look in your local paper/classifieds, its all your own choice. good luck and safe driving6. Says: Don't buy US made. Tag: Can anyone give me advice on a good first car an what to avoid please?
