Why wont my car start in drive?
(2011-01-10 16:20:48) 1. Says: There is a built in safety switch call a neutral safety switch to keep you from starting the engine in gear and the car taking off on you. Should only be able to start in park position.good luck......2. Says: There is a safety switch that prevents the car from starting in gear. People have died or been injured when the car moved unexpectedly.3. Says: it,s not suppose to. it,s only suppose to start in park or neutral.4. Says: They are build that way. You must be in park to start the car, then put it in drive to go.5. Says: safety switch6. Says: It's not supposed to!
