Will my battery die soon?
(2011-01-13 15:20:12) 1. Says: I was trying to charge someone else's battery: I connected the positive to mine, and as i was abt to connect the negative, i saw a spark. My car started fine, but has my battery life depleted b/c of this spark? It's a brand new battery.2. Says: as long as you followed the correct procedure to hook up the cables, you are fine. it is normal to see a small spark, thats the electricity flowing through after you completed the circuit.Procedure to jump a battery:
Positive cable to good battery
Positive to bad battery
Negative to good battery
Negative to bad batteries engine on a metal surface or to battery directly itself.3. Says: A small spark is normal, But a large one, you did some thing wrong.4. Says: your battery will be fine Tag: Will my battery die soon?
