1. sliderinwa Says: 2000 Hyunda, Elantra. Driver side wind (electric) will not come up as it should. Works itself out of the track as it comes up. This pitches the window forward. It can be manually assisted all the way up, but will not do so on it's on. I would like to hear from any of you with knowledge on this and how to fix it. Have some fun in your life today
2. Michael S Says: Usually the regulator is attached to the window in two places, front and rear. Sounds like one of those connections broke loose.

You'll have to look at it and see if that's the problem or else you need a new regulator.
3. Libraryanna Says: I've three regulators fail on my Hyundai accent, same year. They put in some really crappy ones. I replaced two, at about 250 a pop. The third was the window behind the driver's seat. Since I don't carry a lot of passengers, I just had the window glued in the up position.
