1977 Ford F-150 wont shift until i let off of gas!!?
(2011-01-31 15:20:52) 1. Says: I took it to a shop to reseal a leaking transmission pan and now after i got it back it wont shift until i let off the gas from 1st to 2nd gear. I already checked the fluid level and it is reading good off the dipstick, just wondering what else it might be!!2. Says: Yep, sounds like the vacuum hose. It is connected to a small round diaphragm screwed into the transmission. Could be the young pup that worked on you car forgot to reconnect it or knocked it off.You should have taken it right back to the mechanic.3.
