1. joey Says: I got quoted $465 for replacing a water pump. $108 for the part, like $50 for the coolant flush and the rest is 2.9 hours of labor. first is this a good price? it sounds reasonable. I know the water pump in my car takes time to get to. but is it something i can do myself? is it hard?
2. jeff m Says: 2.9 hrs is a fairly easy job but if u havent done it before it will take about twice as long buy a chiltons manual for that make and model and read the steps than u can do it if u get stumped just check the manual
3. Chris Says: uy the water pump yourself , bring it to a

mechanic $40 dollars here and the parts are good quality

pay the labor to install

the price you were quoted is decent, but this way the job will cost you approx. $375
50 for coolant flush is cheap
4. Michael B Says: Not a bad price, let the pros do it...
