Should I take my vehicle back to auto shop for a 3rd time, even though I have a current lawsuit against them?
(2011-02-10 15:20:21) 1. Says: I took my vehicle to an auto shop after it had cut off on me and stopped running. They got the vehicle running, but I had the same symptoms after I got the vehicle back. The same symptoms it had before cutting off on me like the very 1st time. They said it was something else, so they charged me for that, I once again paid for the second repair as well. I asked them why didn't they fix that the very first time if they knew that? They said they didn't know it was the problem at the time. So, ok, fine...I pay for that repair. Still after this 2nd time, I get my vehicle back and the same symptoms are still persisting, so I take it back because if I know it did this the very first time before breaking down on me, it's probably going to break down on me again. Guess what? It breaks down on me again for the 3rd time! They never fixed the true problem, because the vehicle keeps breaking down. They didn't run a diagnostic, none of those times because they would've known what the problem was. (Their own fault, for that) I am currently taking them to small claims court to get all of my money back. Currently, my vehicle broke down on me again this morning, just 5 days after getting it back. Should I take it back to them for the 3rd time or keep it where it is and wait for my small claims court date to arrive?Remember, I currently have a suit filed against this auto shop. Take it back up there and keep taking it up there until they fix it or just wait for my court date to arrive? Their summons is currently on the way to be served to them. I was thinking if I brought back to them for a 3rd time, they couldn't deny that it had broke down after the mechanic told me it shouldn't break down a 3rd time, if we fix it the 2nd time. I have no more money because they took all of it, and they will probably charge me for the 3rd time. Would taking it back to them for a 3rd time benefit me or hinder me in my suit against them?2. Says: I hope you have all your expenses towards this shop form the Day-1. Its not smart enough for you to go to the same shop and get your auto repaired, as they can cause more damage for the same.
One thing to do is to take it to an authorized dealer of your Auto and get it checked and repaired completely and get a full detailed bill from them.
This would serve for your claims if you will the lawsuit and can help you get your money back form the auto shop as well as the complete costs of your ordeal.
Wish you luck...3. Says: call the chev.(for example) zone service manager, which should've been done before the law suit, explain your situation ,ask for an appointment at the dealer's shop, paperwork in hand and try to work thru it,you failed to dtatethe make or age of the car. the suit can be dropped for a small fee if a satisfactory solution is reached.
