I got my permit at 17 and now I'm 18. can I get my provisonals?

1. Angel Says: So I live in MD and I got my permit when I was 17. I was wondering now that I'm 18 do I have to hold it for 9 months since they changed the law from 6 months to 9. Can I just apply for my provisonals? Also I haven't done 60hours, I've done about 50, but do the hours matter when your 18?
