1. Wes K Says: I got an HID kit and custom installed them. Unfortunatly they are WAY too bright (Big suprise there right)
-Is there a way I can put a Resistor or Trim-Pot somewhere on the system to reduce the current and make them less bright? I know a little about electrical systems, but not much in the way of HID lights.
2. elgin Says: you need find automotive grade reostat put in power side then you can control brightness and still goe back to full bright . reostat is a adjustable resistor is all
3. Tuff D Says: Is the problem with them shining and blinding oncoming cars? If so, you may be able to tilt the headlights downwards more. Check your owners manual to see if and where the screws are to tilt them down (usually under the hood on the headlight itself). It is very easy to do and all you need is a phillips head screwdriver and 5 mins.
4. acuratsx86 Says: What bulb temp do you have? if you like something that is not too bright but good go to Ultrahid.com. They are pretty affordable and they sell true HID colors. I got the 6k which is a white with blue tint. but the 8k is a lighter blue and is not that bright either.
5. roger Says: the more hours you put on them, the less light they put out, like any other bulb, the older and more hours they burn, the less light they put out.
6. Jorge Cisneros larin Says: Should have stay with low maintenance ones. It happen to me got pulled over and have them removed.
