Can Gardner Blender Liquid Electrical Tape be used for fuel pump wires?

I had to replace my in the tank electric fuel pump, but they had a completely different wiring hookup, so I soldered the wires (couldn't reroute the wires outside due to the way the tank is), and was wondering if the GB liquid tape is gasoline safe, or if the gas would dissolve it?

If it's not gas safe, can anyone recommend something like some heat shrink or anything that is safe to use on the fuel pump wires inside the gas tank? Anything that could be bought at places like Autozone, Advance, Pep Boys, etc?
