In 2015 will there be a electric car that....?

Less than $55,0002. Says: Tesla Motors has already been pushing those specs for the last few years. Just look at their stock Model S specs. Of course, it's a bit more than $55,000 but we don't know what it will be in 4 years.
5 second 0-60 speed is already pushing supercar levels (of course the electric cars weigh much less but it's worth noting) to ask for $55,000 or less may be asking for a little much at this point and in four years I'd imagine.
Edit: Reading the FAQ section of the Model S seems to suggest the price is within that $55,000 range, not including taxes and surcharges but with a $7500 tax credit being offered by our gov't. Maybe your request will soon be a realization. Seats up to 7, 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and quoted at $57,400 without deducting the $7,500 tax credit. Well, it is a sedan and not a coupe, so there's one miss. I'd like to see how that plays out anyway.
"Model S comes standard with the 160-mile range battery at the quoted $49,900 base price (after the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit)."3. Says: It will be if you decide to build one.! Jokes.:$
But is does seem likely. Although, it may be more expensive.4. Says: I doubt it. It might be able to do all those things EXCEPT for the 55 grand. Tag: In 2015 will there be a electric car that....?
