2003 Hyundai Tiburon... Anyone know about them?
(2011-03-03 15:15:13) 1. Says: Would you say buying a used 2003 Hyundai Tiburon, having 130xxx miles is a good idea? I am looking for an experienced answer, and these cars seem like they may have engine trouble at around 130xxx.... whats your experience, and what do you think? I am not looking forward to fixing any engines anytime soon...2. Says: I have a 2003 bought new in 2002... it is a V6 2.7L engine With AT. I have 72,000 miles on it, do not and will not baby it, have a lot of miles on it at 80 MPH and the car still runs good and uses no oil. While it is not the fastest thing on the road it will take some V8 enginge (public information, not my saying). Keep in mind it does have a worthless back seat so all that can really ride in it is the driver and one guest. This car is just my toy, not my main car, and if it was to fall apart tomorrow I would just park it, junk it, repair it, sell it or whatever. But to do again, I would still buy the car. I have no complaints about it and have talked several times about getting another new car but I still like this one.Have the car checked out but see no reason why not to buy it... but do make sure the timming belt has been changed... for the second time.
Do stay away frome the 6 speed, the AT is faster and gets better gas mileage (again public information, not my saying) Tag: 2003 Hyundai Tiburon... Anyone know about them?
