My car wont shut off?

Kayla Says: I have a 2000 Chrysler neon well today when i turned the ignition switch to shut it off it didnt shut off i even took the key out of it well anyways some how my brother got it to shut off well after that it was fine until about 2 hours ago i went to the store and it did it again so i had to take the key out of it and lock my doors so noone stold my car then we had to un plug the battery to get it to go off i have no idea what it could be any ideas?2. cjo84070 Says: Sounds like the ignition switch may be faulty. It doesn't know you are shutting it off.
