Is it ok to accelerate my honda civic 07 past 3000rpm (does it hurt the car?)?

This doesn't hurt the car right? I am not very familiar with cars...2. Says: It is actually healthier for you to RARELY bring your car up to within 500rpm of redline than not.This gives your valves a chance to fully open up clearing out the passageway.3. as long as your not red lining the tach, probably somewhere closer to 6 or 7,000 no worries4. Says: It won't hurt your car. I'm assuming you have an automatic and it will shift automatically.
