How many 1997-2001 Camrys were sold?
(2011-03-15 14:30:10) 1. Says: I'd like to know how many were sold by model, options, color, where they were built, etc. I believe I have a very rare model of Camry and want to see if that is true. Also don't make fun of me for saying my Camry is "rare" because they sold a lot. It's all original and a model I've never seen before, a color I've never seen before, and factory rims I've never seen before but I know these options exist because I read the model brochure. Its also been driven by an elderly woman for one year before she got sick and passed (my grandmother), so it only has 20k miles, and is the what I would nominate as the world's cleanest Camry. Its also been maintained like a baby (by my grandmother and my family when she was unable to) and what got me real suspicious was when the mechanic looking at it for inspection and offered us a price of almost 10k! We said no because my brother now has it, but he never uses it. I'm also wondering what everyone else thinks. I'm just curious about what this car actually is and if it is rare or not.2. Says: Look! Lets be serious. Even if you had a super rare camry it's not like it is a collectors car. I drive a limited edition 91 Accord. No one is going to put it in their garage and restore it.It sounds like your gma has a 2001 top of the line camry with very little miles. Thats it.

Those are the same cars for sale with many more miles. So looking at that the mechanic low balled you too.
