I just thought it was strange. I'm so used to power windows I wonder if it would be a pain to go back to the manual kind.2. Says: A lot of manufacturers are bringing these back for two reasons:1. Popular demand. I know I prefer them, myself, but a lot of customers expressed that they wanted windows they could roll down without turning the key. There's also some valid concern that a modern car, submerged in water, might not be able to get the window down.
2. The manual window regulators are lightweight and cheap, which helps shave a few pounds to improve city mileage and keep the sticker price down on the base model.3. Says: No, I'm sorry, some automobile manufacturers still only implement manual windows into their vehicles. This reduces the cost of the car in the long run, and it is something that is often overlooked when purchasing a car.4. Says: Base models often have manual windows and locks etc. My 07 cobalt ls has manual everything. Tag: I thought all cars had power windows these days?
