1992 BMW 525i Transmission Computer Location?

1. Adam Says: Where is the TCM "Transmission Control Module" located on a 1992 BMW 525i?

I have called the dealer, they told me it was located under the hood on the passenger side, along with the ECU. I have checked and its not there, only things there are the ECU and ABS computer. I also have briefly checked the trunk with no luck. Any help would be much appreciated.

2. Caveman Says: Typical- most dealerships don't know much about the older cars anymore due to BMW's poor warranty pay and high tech turnover. The trans computer (EGS) is behind the passenger side kick panel next to the glove box.
