A pothole in the street bent my rim and ruined my tire, can I get the city to reimburse my expenses?
(2011-03-23 14:20:09) 1. Says: Cost me over $400 to get a new rim and tire (this after looking around!). It was dark out and I didn't see the pothole until it was too late.2. Says: in england we pay road tax, so you pay to be able to have a car on the road. that money theoretically goes towards fixing roads. if you have a similar system, then yeah, they should pay for damages3. Says: It's like you allow people go in your park for free,and they jump out of a tree and break their leg and ask you to pay for it
You didn't have to drive on the government's road4. Says: You can try but I seriously doubt that you will win this one. This happend to me. I just bit the bullet and bought a junkyard rim and tire.5.
