Transmission Linkage In Mitsubishi Diamante?

1. Scotch Says: My care is able to start but whenever i shift the gear into drive, reverse, and even neutral it doesnt move, its as if its still in park but the car is running(meaning it has started). Is that a transmission linkage problem or something else...how much do u think itll cost me to have a mechanic fix it...im a college student and already struggling as it is. Its a Mitsubishi Diamante 2003.

2. Michael S Says: If your car moved in neutral you would definitely have a problem but if it doesn't move in any drive or reverse gear, I would first check the transmission fluid.
