(2011-04-01 14:15:32)
1. Sin Says: Ok well i have a 1977 chevy c10 step-side. its not all original transmission, and pretty sure not same anything besides engine block. but why i am asking this because i can drive a manual in all my friend's cars but not mine. cause when you hit the friction point, the car i suppose to start rolling right. but mine when i hit that point i just sits in place? i think this happens because the car and camshaft are too heavy for the hatchback transmission to push forward. please help. the guy i bought the truck from said the transmission was from a hatchback

Am i correct about this?
2. KAM Says: all 350 turbo chevy trans are the same doesn't matter if it came from a hatchback or truck.sounds like your trans is slipping needs serviced.if your cam shaft has more than 280 deg of dur., than you should have a higher stall converter.if stock cam in motor stock converter will be fine?
3. Kenny D Says: What you say makes no sense.
