What type of clutch does a 2004 Saturn ion 2 2.2L have?

1. Adrian Murij Says: The ion I have is a 2.2L version 2 and the clutch is going so im not sure what type of clutch I need, there's a website that has a clutch in disc form and in flywheel form. Both clutch types include the clutch and flywheel. I'll add the link so it should help.

2. al Says: if you are replacing the clutch you need

1 clutch disc
1 pressure plate
1 slave cylinder
1 master cylinder
1 flywheel (OR you can have the flywheel on the engine resurfaced at a machine shop)

as far as that link you posted.. i really dont know i would CALL or go to a GM dealer and ask them for the parts i listed above. that is everything you need up there ^

see this to understand how a clutch works >> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BaECAbapRg

you can probably order an aftermarket kit for your car like a SPEC clutch kit it might be cheaper. i'd suggest getting a manual for your car like a haynes or chilton and reading about a clutch and transmission before you attempt this
