I replaced my radiator, and thermostat, but my truck still keeps overheating!?
(2011-04-03 14:15:12) 1. Says: I have a 1995 Chevy 4x4 1500. I replaced both the radiator and alternator and it still overheats! The coolant stays in the reserve tank, and hardly moves into the radiator..could it be the water pump? What other things may be causing this to happen? I checked my oil and it looked fine, no impurities..
Please help!2. Says: Alternator has nothing to do with overheating. And your coolant should stay in the reserve tank if the radiator is full. Id say water pump or you have a clog somewhere.3. Says: It could be the switch that tells the fan when to come on.4. Says: Waterpump.5. Says: Is the coolant tank clean? You may have a clog in one of the lines.
