My dad did something to my car so that it wont start?

1. Brittany Says: my dad grounded me from my car, but he knows i have a spare key.
so he did something to my car, knowing that i am retarded when it comes to cars and beneath the hood. please do not tell me to talk to him and get it resolved. im not on here for father-daughter advice. i just want to know how to fix my car!
i tried turning the key, and it didnt do anything or make any noise.
i looked under the hood... but it was like staring at a mess of wires and metal. i have no idea about anything under the hood of a car. all the wires looked like they were connected fine and everything looked normal (what i assume is normal) but my car wont start!
im sure that whatever he did, must have a quick fix. he wouldnt go to any drastic measures because he knows that HE will be the one having to fix it later. he just did something simple to keep it from starting.

what did he do and how do i fix it!

ps. my car is a ford taurus.
2. Alex54 Says: he probly took the ignition fuse out or something. under the steering wheel there is a cover, under the cover there are loads of fuses its really easy to take them out and certain electrical things on the car like lights radio etc wont work without them. look at fuses under the steering wheel and see if any are missing then buy the ones that are missing and put them in
3. Michael Says: He used a special dad trick. Don't go any farther with this, or next time he will have to use more drastic measures. Take your lumps like an adult. It is senseless to "fix your car" and establish a reputation for not being trustworthy.
4. kafleenthedonkey Says: If it makes no noise he probably unhooked the battery cable.
5. c2a3j4u5n6 Says: he loves you,
respect his judgement
6. ken k Says: as a dad i am certainly glad that dad took this action/wise up and smell the family
7. Stephen Bateman Says: wat a ******* dick
8. heybales665 Says: he's just doing wats best for you
9. Mark D Says: If you don't know what's what under the hood it is unlikely you will find the problem by yourself without help from someone. I just recently disconnected the maf sensor and coil power plug and tucked them away out of sight on one of my cars my son want to drive.
The quickest way to get it fixed is to talk to your dad and not do things to get grounded. I know it's not what you want to hear but i know if i found my son had figured it out and taken the car anyway my next step would be to sell the car.
