Buying A USED Car $11,000 Budget?

1. Nobama Says: Hi I am going to be buying a first car in the next 3 months, and my budget is between $11,000 and $12,000.

I prefer used versions of NICER cars rather than *more new* versions of cheap cars (ie, I don't want a Toyota Carola, Honda Sonata, etc).

It has to be AUTOMATIC and definitely less than 70,000 miles (I'd prefer mid-50's if possible)

My top picks now are either a Mustang, a used BMW 3 series or X3, or some kind of SUV
