Is it possible to get Bullet Proof Windows on your Car?

1. Dogz 4 LiFe Says: Bulletproof? No. It is possible, however, to get bullet-resistant glass. This glass is generally very thick, and will only withstand one shot within a given circumference from a firearm. So if your shooter is accurate and can hit the same spot twice, the first shot won't go through, but the second will...with deadly force.

Also, this glass is very heavy, as it is (I believe) about 1-2" thick, so adding it to your car requires massive changes, since it will add somewhere in the neighborhood of 400-700lbs to the car, depending on how much glass there is.

2. Sean Says: Yes, it is very much possible to get bullet proof windows. However, the only people that really get them are those at "high risk" such as: Government Officials, Celebrities, Religious Leaders, & Journalists.
There are some places that are specifically for special vehicles made with bullet proof materials. Look up on Google "Armored Vehicles" or "Bullet Proof Windows" and you'll get a lot of information.
