What could be wrong with my defroster and heater on my 1996 Honda Accord?

1. A.B. Says: It only blows cold air.
I tried to add anti-freeze.

2. galaxiexl Says: there is a valve mounted on the heater hose very near the firewall connected to a "Push-pull" cable.This turns off and on the flow of water to the heater core.Yours is closed or clogged.The hoses it is connected to are molded and best bought with your new valve along with all new clamps.DON'T re-use those old clamps!New ones hold tight and are cheap insurance.NAPA has the valve/hose assy available for around $40.00
