chaoticmagician Says: I wear glasses and am wearing them in my license photo, but they put no restrictions on the license. Does that mean I can legally drive without my glasses? Or did they just not put it since I'm wearing them in the photo?

jeff rager Says: If it's not listed on your drivers license as a restriction then it doesn't matter. evidently your vision was good enough to pass the eye exam, so they did not put a restriction on it.

Scott Says: In the state of Kansas(I'm not sure about TN), Unless it is stamped you can drive without them. If you wore them while taking the eye exam it should be stamped. I would wear them anyway because if your in a wreck or any other type of incident and do not have them that would make you at fault by default. You should also go to the DMV and bring this to their attention.

Patricia Says: If your eyesight is good enough to pass the eye test without glasses, then you do not have to wear them. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't wear them. I can make out shapes and colors without my glasses, but I can't see clearly more than 6 inches from my nose. If you need glasses to see 20/20, then wear them.

Kristen Says: Unless it is stamped on your license, you can legally drive without them, but why would you want to? If you're wearing them in the picture, obviously you need them.
