1. IceCube Says: It's a 2007 Mercedes C class AMG with really large break pad. Will I have another few hundred miles to go because we have been on a long holiday and I need the car for another week. Thanks in advance.
2. keith p Says: I think you will have a another two hundred miles left in your break pads ,when you get the warning it is a wire that is set in your break pads and when the wire makes a contact with the the brake disc it makes a circuit to let you know that your pads do need changing ,that wire is 1.5 mm thick .,so that is how much you have left on the thinnest break pad .

I hope this helps you.
3. Mr. KnowItAll Says: Right now you're looking at replacing the brake pads. $80

If you continue to drive it, you're going to damage the rotors and cause 10 times the damage and cost of repairs. $800.

It's up to you.
4. Derek Says: Brake pads are finished. You can still drive it for a week. If your doing highway miles you should be fine unless your always on the brakes.
