how do you do thatttt?! also why is smoke comming out of the car?
2. holtonmusicman Says: The "Smoke" is the tire being rubbed away by the pavement.

It appears that this car has a brake interlock or brake interrupt system. These systems allow the brakes to be applied to the front of the vehicle while allowing the rear to spin free.

It is also possible to apply the brakes and "feel" when the rear tires are cutting loose - letting up on the brake pedal until they do, then re-applying them once the break free - this keeps the vehicle stationary while allowing the rear tires to spin.

It takes practice but can be done - this is achieved because 60-70% of the braking is done with the front wheels and only 30-40% is done by the rear.

And why won't you do it?!? It's fun!!
3. Ben Griffiths Says: If you have a rear wheel drive car you put your foot on the bake and press the accelerator on the other hand if you have a front wheel drive car its harder. If you have a strong handbrake then you might get away with using that but unlikely. The smoke is coming from the tyres because when you spin the wheels on the spot or burnout as its know, the wheels are spinning very quickly so it generates so much heat against the concrete it is burning away the rubber. But it is so fun to do. its awesome.
4. Colton Y Says: The smoke also is caused from chemicals on the road. it is not just the tires melting, oil, grease and god knows what else is on the roadways. its also burning that stuff. at most burnbout comps you notice thy throw oil down then do the burnout or diesel fuel and other chemicals down that burn slow. also foot on the break and other foot on the gas. great way to blow the rearend out of your far or truck. also very stupid cuz breaks do mess up at times. nothing like hitting some stuff cuz your breaks stoped working while you were beeing a DUMB@$$
5. Steven Says: Holding the brake while accelerating will cause loss of traction at the wheel and the tire will smoke from burning the rubber off the contact surface of the tire. Very hard on the vehicle unless it's a race type vehicle not to mention the excessive tire wear each time it's done. Please don't try this.
6. Jeremy Says: You need a rear wheel drive car. With an automatic you hold your brake with the left foot and give some gas with the right. The smoke is the rubber burning from the friction of being forced to spin with the high horsepower those cars have.
7. Brian Says: You need to have rear wheel drive. If you have front wheel drive, it won't work because the front wheels are where the brakes are.
8. Master Says: you only put it on drive and press the brake and step on the gas the back tires should start burning tire
and smoke would come out its awesome.
9. Christopher Coleman Says: Hold the brake down, then stomp the gas. You will leave a skid mark and smoke. WOO
10. S Says: Foot on the brake, and press the gas.
11. Andy Pandy Says: Find a frozen pond or lake.
