When you have a car with a start/stop engine button, what all do you do?

1. Chad Says: im just curious. i mean is there some kind of code or something because if a car-jacker got into you car he could just go.
2. Ryan S Says: You have to have the key fob somewhere inside the car, mostly near the steering wheel. You can just keep it in your pocket, then put your foot on the brake and hold it for like 3 seconds. Some you can tap 3 times quickly also and the vehicle starts. Some cars have a place you can put the fob near the steering wheel. And i just heard that NHTSA(National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) is trying to pass a law that will require ALL new cars to have a push button start instead of a key, to prevent theft. And i think they are cool and convenient so there is another plus.
3. Cody Says: you have to have the keychain remote within a certain distance of the the push start and your foot on the brake
