327 carburetor on 350 chevy engine?

V Ill Says: I have a 327 rochester carburetor and was wondering if it will fit and work properly on a 350 engine chevy four bolt main? I'd really appreciate any help thanks

Pancakes Says: Chances are, if it's stock, it's a 550-650 cfm carb and will work fine on a 350. A smaller carb will increase throttle response on a 350, but may peeter out at high revs. Not really needed unless you're all out racing.

Jason Says: sure will. the 302,327,and the 350 are basically the same engine block with different crankshafts. What you really need to check for is the intake manifold itself. Is it a spread-bore or square bore.
