Would this void warranty?

(2011-04-26 14:20:47)
1. VirenP Says: im gonna be getting a MazdaSpeed3 somewhere around july, if its still under the factory warranty and i go somewhere to get the resonator(s) (depending on which year) removed will this void the warranty?? cause i dont want to do it and then find out the turbo seal leaked or something
also can anybody suggest a place where i might be able to get the resonators removed in shreveport louisiana?? thanks
2. Tuono Cane Says: I thought about doing the same thing only on a Ford focus and they told me if I removed the silencer or resonator it would void the warranty, so I would say yes it may.

However I have had exhaust work done before on new cars and the only part of the warranty it voided was on the exhaust system, so ask the dealership first man to be sure or go at your own risk.
3. Vipassana Says: And why do you think it wouldn't?

You're removing factory equipment.

And why? It won't do anything for you.
