Is a volvo s40 60 or 80 a good car for a 16 yr old guy?

2. cjrossi Says: a 4000-6000 volvo s40/60/80 isn't a good car for a 16 guy - because you're talking about an older model, with alot of miles and wear on it - and when things break - repairs are VERY expensive.

That said - the S60 is the sport sedan of the bunch.

Volvo doesn't strike me as a 16 year old kid type of car

3. quepasameng Says: I have always liked them, I am 17. I originally wanted an S80. I was told it was a gay and old man car but i dont care. I want luxury and a comfortable ride. Though it comes at a price, I don't suggest buying one because repairs can be costly. I know one kid who had lyk a 2001 S40, it blew a head gasket, and now he is stuck to driving his moms minivan.

4. marechal_00 Says: S40 is the best for youngsters. Even the C30 and C70 are very nice cars. I believe the S60 is rather for a family, and the S80 for older, say "retired" people. All Volvos are good to drive, reliable and comfy. Good luck.
