(2011-05-05 14:25:12)
1. charleswith Says: My friend told me that every time you start up your car that it's like driving it 100 miles. Is that actually true?
2. roger Says: no that makes no sense, but look at the source, a carless weahatude.(same thing as a carless wannabe, but worse ) a starter is made heavy duty, it is a high wear item so they make it strong so it lasts many years, and is made to do its job well, Stop and go traffic, and around town traffic is hard on a car, sudden stops, and sudden stops, get kind of old to the driver too.
3. Just My Thoughts Says: NO! That is not true at all.

It is harder on the engine right at start up but it is not as if you drove it 100miles.
4. No Says: no your friend is a fool. if that was true, every time you started the car youd need a new tank of gas
5. bandit_60 Says: heck no that,s not true. it takes more gas to go 100 miles then it does starting it.
6. hunter fisher traper Says: its like driving an 1/16 th of a mile
7. Peter Says: who's your freind and do you realy need this kind of stupidity in your life? get new freinds!
8. Ashley Says: NO, that's total BS!!!!
