Does my car have air con?

1. Amber Halett Says: I bought my Peugeot 307 (2006 model) a few weeks ago and on the description it had lots of things but one of them said Air Con..
There is NO A/C button but there is the button that looks like a recycling sign..? when I looked int he manual it showed the A/C button.
My sister has an older peugeot and hers does have air con, and she has to switch it to the coldest on the dial and press the little recycling button..

Do we think mine does have it? Don't want to take it to be re-gassed and look a bit silly!

The following 307s models did not have aircon fitted -
"Style" all engines
"E" all engines
As to all other models some did and some not and no way to tell from the model designation except GLX and XSi which all have it

3. champer Says: The "recycling" button controls whether your ventilation takes in fresh air or simply recirculates the air already in the car; for all normal purposes leave it on fresh, not recirculate.

If you don't have an air-con button you do not have air-con. The handbook covers many variations of the car, some of which do have it and some don't.

4. the man Says: The recycling button does that, it recirculates the air, an ac button would say ac or have a snowflake or something obvious. A lot of cars don't have it cause it costs extra.

5. Michael Wood Says: The manual just covers all factory options so unless you have an ac button then probs not.

6. James Says: manuals are starnderd for all same model, like the mph will go way above what speed ur car can do, u should have a button saying ac, if not then u not got
