What is the best kind of car leather cleaner and conditioner to get the original "leather smell" back?

I keep it cleaned and conditioned, but even the nicer stuff that I get like Lexol always has some funky smell. Is there a product line that I've never heard of or some kind of trick that I could do to get the leather back to its original odor and texture?
