Says: hey everyone, i contacted someone about a boat he is trying to sell over the internet. the boat was suppose to be located in saugerties, CT. now he is telling me it is sealed at a DAS terminal in florida and he wants to use Auto Trader Vehicle Purchase to make the deal. Is this a real thing. If so, can someone provide the website URL for me . Thanks2. Says: It's an old SCAM.Did it sound something like this?

There is no boat. just a con man on the end of an anonymous email account waiting for some sucker to send them money. Then you'll never see the boat and never hear from them again.
Autotrader offers so such service. Buy locally and avoid the scams. Deal with the seller face to face and NEVER send money to someone on the Internet unless you can afford to never see it again.4. Anyone who buys a boat or car with out being able to physically inspect it and see a valid title prior to putting up any money is asking to be ripped off. It happens more and more.
