How do you know how many hertz a new exhaust/ muffler will add to the sound of your car?
(2011-05-24 14:25:37) 1. Says: I want to make my car have exactly 333 hertz like the Maserati since i love the sound of it.2. Says: None. Exhaust doesn't make the sound, the engine does. So if you want to sound like a Maserati, buy a Maserati. That's your only choice. There's far more factors than a muffler.Some factors to the tone of a cars exhaust/engine:
Piston size
engine stroke
number of cylinders
total displacement
exhaust manifold diameter
exhaust manifold shape
exhaust manifold configuration
compression ratio
camshaft timing
camshaft duration
camshaft lift
cylinder head combustion chamber shape
piston crown shape
valve size
exhaust diameter
intake manifold configuration
induction system
