The check engine light came on?

Says: usually it means something is wrong with the emissions. auto zone will run the codes for you for free. a lot of times it,s the 02 sensor.3. Says: Take it to your local Autozone or Advanced auto parts and see what the code reads. Get the little printout they give you, and send me an email, I will try my best to tell you what could be wrong. Just remember the printout will tell you what computer perceives as a problem, but the part it list won't necesarily be the part that is broken or faulty.4. Says: It can mean a few things most the time it's not very important just a sensor that has gone, they are usually only 40$ and are very easy to change. If you take your car to a garage the can plug a computer to your car and tell you exactly why it's on and what's wrong.5. Says: try unscrewingg your gas cap and tightening till it clicks, by the 4-5th trip the light should go out, if it doesnt you'll need to visit your dealership.6. Says: Trunk monkey is out of bananas and/or your blinker fluid reservoir is filled with mutant ants that are trying to eat your flux capacitor.7. Says: amber colored, means something in computer system, most of the time it's with emission8. Says: it means check the engine.What part of that did you not understand?
