Thoughts on the Cobalt SS?
(2010-05-28 12:56:31) 1. Says: Im talking about the regular SS not turbo or super charged. I was wondering what you thought about the exterior and interior looks or just anything about the car. Do you think that it is worth the money. I was looking at a 2006 SS for 8000.2. Says: The Cobalt's are very reliable...I personally love them, but I wouldn't suggest getting a SS/NA unless you plan on putting in a turbo or supercharger. The only benefit to the SS/NA would be that it has a 2.4L engine compared to the SS/SC and SS/TC's 2.0L engines, and the 2.2L in the LS and LT/LTZ trims. Either way, it will be a decent car no matter what you plan to do with it, and these cars are very mod friendly if thats what you're looking for.3. Says: a wanna be ss. get mistaken for decent power, gets mistaken for a threat on the road.
them are my thoughts.4. Says: The Cobalt sedan has a 2010 Auto Reliability Grade Point Average of 1.19 (on the usual scale of 0.00 to 4.00) over a 5-year CR data history. Also, both the 2006 Cobalt coupe and the 2006 Cobalt sedan are on Consumer Reports' 2010 list of Worst Cars. So, the Cobalt may be a very expensive car to maintain.5. Says: personally and coming from a mechanic.....those are turds. wanna be ricers and wanna b american muscle. just cuz u pour syrup on sh*t dont make it a pancake.....jmo......6. Says: The Cobalt SS will be a collectors item in the future, if you keep it factory original and don't abuse it. They will never be as valuable as V8 Camaro's or 80's style SS Monte Carlo's, however the SS Cobalts will have a better resale value than lesser trim style Cobalts.7. Says: I had one for about seven months, great little car! very cute and super on gas. I just needed something bigger, so worth it if your fine with something little, and you can just whip those things into tight spots. Watch out for those 2006 though, that year had a lot of problems with car. I had a 2009, now i have a 2010 HHR, love it! Tag: Thoughts on the Cobalt SS?
